1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using TailorMeSwiftly.com (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
2. Premium Service and Subscriptions
This Service operates on a premium subscription model. While we may offer limited free features, full access to our advanced AI-powered generation and interview preparation tools requires an active subscription or payment.
In order to provide you with the highest quality models and maintain the Service without compromising your data, we charge users directly for access to our premium features.
3. Description of Service
TailorMeSwiftly.com provides AI-powered tools designed to assist users in:
- Tailoring resumes and cover letters to specific job descriptions, including merging multiple resumes into a single comprehensive resume using AI.
- Preparing for interviews with AI-generated questions and mock interviews.
- Tracking job applications, salary benchmarking, job market analysis, and win probability scoring.
- Simulating ATS platform parsing behavior (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, BambooHR), recruiter view simulation with 6-second scan analysis, and professional profile auditing with section-by-section scoring and rewrite suggestions.
- Providing a pre-written phrase library with AI-generated resume bullet points across 15 industries, cached locally in your browser.
- Real-time keyword scoring in the resume editor (processed client-side in your browser) with a floating score badge and found vs. missing keyword breakdown.
- Saving job listings to your Application Tracker via the TailorMeSwiftly Chrome Extension, which reads job listing page content when activated by the user.
- Win probability scoring on application tracker cards, calculated from ATS score, application stage, freshness, and engagement activity.
- Generating AI-powered company dossiers with recent news, interview themes, product context, and talking points using Google Search grounding for live web data.
- Syncing Gmail and Google Calendar data (read-only) to automatically detect interview invites, recruiter replies, and follow-up dates and update your Application Tracker. OAuth tokens are AES-256 encrypted at rest and never exposed to the client.
- Simulating full multi-round interview loops with AI interviewer personas (recruiter, hiring manager, technical, panel, and closing rounds), including per-round scoring and aggregate feedback.
- Comparing multiple job offers across compensation, equity, growth, manager quality, commute, flexibility, stability, and burnout risk, with adjustable weights, radar chart visualization, and AI-generated negotiation angles.
- Generating a cohesive personal brand kit (LinkedIn headline, About section, featured projects, personal pitch, and portfolio blurbs) from a single source profile using a two-pass AI system for voice consistency.
- Receiving personalized daily news briefings based on your selected interests, delivered as text, email, and/or podcast audio with selectable AI host voices. Includes story-level reactions (thumbs up/down/save) to influence future curation, and continuing story tracking across briefings.
- Exporting tailored resumes and cover letters directly to your Google Drive via OAuth-authenticated cloud storage integration (using the restricted
drive.filescope, which limits our access to files you save through TailorMeSwiftly). - Generating personalized learning roadmaps that identify skill gaps between your resume and a target job description, with AI-generated study guides, knowledge checks, and mini-projects (Tailor My Learning). Includes spaced repetition review scheduling, mastery level tracking, daily challenges, and community-submitted resources.
All AI-generated output is intended as a helpful draft or summary and should be reviewed and verified by the user. Learning content, study guides, resource recommendations, and skill assessments are AI-generated suggestions and do not constitute professional educational advice or certification.
4. Payment Processing
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Consumer Terms. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription management (cancellation, plan changes) is available from your Account page.
5. Third-Party AI Processing
We use third-party APIs to power our features:
- Google Gemini: Generates tailored documents, interview prep, and news briefing summaries. Google's API Terms.
- Inworld AI: Generates text-to-speech narration for podcast briefings. Inworld AI Terms.
- GNews: Fetches news articles based on your interests. GNews Terms.
- Resend: Delivers daily email briefings and automated onboarding emails. Resend Terms.
- Google Gmail & Calendar APIs: Used for the Email & Calendar Sync feature to read (read-only) interview invites, recruiter replies, and calendar events. Requires explicit user authorization via OAuth 2.0. Subject to Google API Services User Data Policy.
We access these services through paid API tiers whose terms of service state that data submitted via the API is not used to train their models.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the content you input and the accuracy of the final documents you choose to use in your job applications.
When submitting community resources or any other user-generated content, you agree not to submit spam, malicious links, copyrighted material without permission, or content that violates any applicable law.
7. News Briefing & Podcast Content
News briefings are generated from third-party news sources and AI summarization. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any news content. Briefings are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of news or for making financial, legal, or professional decisions.
Podcast audio is generated using AI text-to-speech with user-selectable host voices and delivered via an RSS feed. Audio quality and availability may vary.
Story reactions (thumbs up, thumbs down, save) are used to adjust future briefing curation. Continuing story threads are tracked across briefings to surface recurring topics. These features rely on stored preference data and do not guarantee specific content outcomes.
8. Learning Roadmap Content
Learning roadmaps generated by Tailor My Learning are AI-generated educational suggestions based on your resume and a target job description. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any study guide content, resource links, or skill gap assessments. Learning paths are for informational and self-study purposes only and do not constitute professional certification, accreditation, or guaranteed career outcomes.
Spaced repetition scheduling (powered by the SM-2 algorithm) uses your knowledge check scores to calculate review intervals. These intervals are suggestions to optimize retention and are not guarantees of learning outcomes. Mastery levels (bronze, silver, gold, platinum) reflect self-assessed and AI-evaluated performance and do not correspond to any external certification or credential.
Community Resources: Users may submit resource links (URLs, titles, descriptions) that are visible to other users studying the same learning path. By submitting a community resource, you grant TailorMeSwiftly a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute the submitted content within the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any resources you submit do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any community-submitted content at our discretion. We validate submitted URLs for accessibility but do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or quality of any user-submitted resource.
9. Chrome Extension
The TailorMeSwiftly Chrome Extension is an optional browser extension available from the Chrome Web Store. By installing and using the extension, you agree to the following:
- The extension reads page content (job title, company name, URL, and job description) only on pages where you explicitly activate it. It does not run in the background or monitor your browsing activity.
- The extension requires permission to read the active tab's content in order to extract job listing details. No data is collected from pages you do not explicitly save.
- Saved job data is transmitted to our servers and stored in your Application Tracker, subject to the same data handling and security practices described in our Privacy Policy.
- The extension is provided "as is". We do not guarantee compatibility with every job board or listing format. Extracted data should be reviewed for accuracy.
- Use of the Chrome Web Store is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
10. Email Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive a limited series of automated onboarding emails during the first 14 days after signup. These emails contain tips, checklists, and feature highlights to help you use the Service effectively. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. Unsubscribing will not affect your account access or any other Service functionality.
If you opt in to daily news briefing emails, you agree to receive those separately and may unsubscribe at any time.
11. Institutional Use & Data Processing
Educational institutions using TailorMeSwiftly under a campus license agreement are subject to additional terms governing student data handling, usage reporting, and support for institutional FERPA obligations. Institutional license terms are provided separately upon execution of a campus licensing agreement.
Participants are onboarded to an organization via invite link or admin-issued email invitation; no manual account creation by the institution is required. Upon first joining an organization, participants are presented with a data sharing consent modal that must be accepted before any organizational data sharing begins.
Organizational administrators may access aggregated engagement metrics and Career Readiness Scores for their participants. The Career Readiness Score is an organizational metric derived from platform usage patterns and does not reflect individual resume content or job application details.
All institutional deployments require a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that designates TailorMeSwiftly as a "school official" under FERPA, defines permitted uses of student education records, establishes breach notification timelines, and discloses all subprocessors. The DPA is incorporated into the campus license agreement.
For details on our SOC 2-aligned security controls, FERPA technical safeguards, incident response procedures, and subprocessor list, see our Compliance Center.
12. Community & Discussion Guidelines
The Service provides community discussion features where users may post content visible to all authenticated users. By participating, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for the content you post in discussions, including text, links, and any other material.
- You must not post content that is harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, spam, or illegal under any applicable law.
- We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
- Repeated violations of community guidelines may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
13. Peer Review
The Service offers an anonymized peer review feature for resumes. By submitting a resume for peer review, you agree to the following:
- You must not include personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, phone number, or email in resume submissions intended for peer review. The Service applies automated PII stripping, but you are responsible for verifying that your submission is appropriately anonymized.
- Reviews must be constructive, professional, and relevant to improving the resume. Abusive, discriminatory, or off-topic reviews are prohibited and may be removed.
- By submitting a resume for peer review, you grant other authenticated users the right to read and comment on your anonymized submission within the Service.
14. Employer Portal
Employers may create company profiles and post job listings through the Employer Portal. By using the Employer Portal, employers agree to the following:
- Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their company profile information and job postings.
- TailorMeSwiftly does not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, or hiring decisions resulting from job postings on the platform.
- TailorMeSwiftly reserves the right to remove job postings or employer profiles that are misleading, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.
- Verified employer profiles undergo manual review but verification does not constitute endorsement by TailorMeSwiftly.
15. Skills Verification & Micro-Credentials
The Service offers skills assessments and issues micro-credentials upon successful completion. By using these features, you agree to the following:
- Micro-credentials represent completion of TailorMeSwiftly assessments only. They are not professional certifications, licenses, or accreditations recognized by any external body.
- TailorMeSwiftly reserves the right to revoke or invalidate micro-credentials at any time if assessment integrity is compromised or if the terms of the Service are violated.
- Credential verification pages are publicly accessible. Your display name, credential title, and issue date will be visible to anyone with the verification link.
16. Cohort & Classroom Use
Instructors may create cohorts and invite students to join via access codes. By using cohort features, the following terms apply:
- Instructors agree to handle student data in accordance with their institution's data privacy policies, including FERPA where applicable. TailorMeSwiftly provides the tools for classroom management but institutions remain solely responsible for their own FERPA compliance obligations.
- Students who join a cohort consent to sharing their name, email, assignment completion status, and scores with their cohort instructor(s).
- Instructors must not use student data obtained through TailorMeSwiftly for purposes beyond legitimate educational activities associated with the cohort.
17. Outcomes Tracking
The Service allows users to self-report career outcomes (interview callbacks, offers, job starts, salary data). This data is provided voluntarily and TailorMeSwiftly makes no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of aggregated outcomes analytics. Outcomes data may be included in anonymized, aggregated reports visible to organizational administrators.
18. Limitation of Liability
TailorMeSwiftly.com is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees that the generated content will secure employment or guarantee interviews. In no event shall TailorMeSwiftly.com or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of New York for the resolution of any disputes.
20. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
